About Spencer Civil & Earthworks

We are a medium sized civil construction company based in South Brisbane specialising in GPS excavators, posi tracks and truck & dog wet hire. Established in 2022, we have had the opportunity to work at a range of civil sites across South East Queensland and Interstate. Fortunately we have lots of exciting upcoming work so are looking to expand the team. About The Excavator Operator Role

Some of the role responsibilities include:

Communication with other team members, clients, subcontractors and suppliers

Follow Trimble GPS models accurately

Read standard site plans

Conduct daily pre-start checklists of plant and machinery before use

All aspects of civil works including bulk & detail earthworks, pipe laying, site clearing & trimming

Work as part of a team and also independently

Weekend work available

About you

Minimum 4 years excavator operator experience

GPS experience - willing to train the right person

Current RII's for Excavator & Construction Induction Card (White Card)

Punctual, reliable & show initiative

Take pride in your work and machine

Current HR licence is an advantage
