About the role

This is a well-rounded Vending Machine Service Operator position at Ace Vending in Pagewood, Sydney, offering full time and casual role with a salary range of $55,000 – $65,000 per year.

Experience is preferred but not necessary as full training is provided with the support of our centralized management systems which is very simple to use.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

Packing stock for the vending machines, vending machines are cleaned, filled and working, driving between vending machine sites cash handling, minor repairs providing efficient friendly customer service managing their time efficiently. A high standard of cleanliness and tidiness while at customer site. Machine security. Attending service calls as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Service and Maintenance: Filling, servicing, and cleaning vending machines (about 10–15 per day across the Sydney metro area).

Services are simple with the support of our centralized management systems

Warehouse Tasks: Stocking and packing.

Driving: Transporting stock and servicing machines while managing time effectively.

Customer Service: Offering friendly, professional service while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness at customer sites.

Repairs: Handling minor machine repairs.

Security: Ensuring the security of machines and products.

Service Calls: Responding to customer service calls as required.

Applicants must be able to:

Essential Requirements:

Drive a Manual Van: Ability to drive a manual van (company-provided).

Valid Australian Driver's License: Must have a clean driving record (no alcohol/drug-related offenses).

Criminal History & Working with Children Checks: Required for all applicants.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift boxes weighing 10kg to 15kg.

Communication Skills: Good communication and a customer-focused attitude.

Pre-employment Screening: Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing.

Work Eligibility: Must be an Australian citizen, PR, TR holder, or have a valid work permit.

Reliability and Time Management: A consistent work history, excellent time management, and the ability to work independently.

Desirable Skills:

Strong customer service experience.

Basic technical ability (helpful for minor repairs).

Attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Outgoing and personable demeanour.
