The Role

In this multi-disciplinary role, you will be supporting the group’s tax leader for APAC with compliance for Australian Income Tax, International Tax, GST, Transfer Pricing and various tax planning projects.

Day-to-day, your responsibilities will include

• Assist with corporate tax compliance, including gathering information and the preparation of work papers;
• Preparation of tax provisions for entities across the APAC region;
• Assist in the preparation of GST, FBT and BAS returns;
• Support the APAC Tax Leader with Tax Audits as they arise;
• Ensure that the group’s Tax Governance framework is effective and up to date;
• Support with Transfer Pricing documentation; and
• Work closely with local and global tax leadership on ad-hoc tax projects.

This contract is expected to run for a period of 12 months, with potential for permanent extension thereafter.

What you’ll bring

• CA or CPA Qualified with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field;
• Proficient in the utilisation of ERP systems – SAP preferred; and
• Tax experience in a large, commercial organisation preferred, or alternatively experience in a Big 4 accounting firm.
