About the role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Carina Dental Practice. In this part-time/casual role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our dentists. The position is based in our practice located in Carina Heights, QLD 4152.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the dentist during procedures by setting up equipment, passing instruments, and ensuring a smooth workflow

Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment

Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring they are clean and well-stocked

Greeting patients, updating their records, and providing friendly customer service

Performing general administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient files

Continuously expanding your knowledge and skills to provide the best possible care to our patients

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications in dental assisting or a willingness to undertake necessary training

Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting, preferably as a dental assistant

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the dental team

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and sterilisation

A passion for providing exceptional patient care and a dedication to continuous learning and professional development
