The business is expected to have more offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane by the end of the year. We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality financial advice to clients, helping them achieve their financial goals through strategic planning and investment solutions. You will be expected to build strong client relationships and lead a team of junior advisers to maintain service excellence.

Key duties of this role include:

o Foster long term relationships with clients and contribute to the ongoing positive reputation of the business brand within Australia.

o All-inclusive approach, including gaining a full understanding of their business, their accounting and tax requirements and obligations, their corporate record obligations, and their management needs

o Advise clients regarding their accounting, tax, management information, banking, and other business issues.

o Contribute to the development, application, and documentation of effective procedures within the accounting and tax team that are compliant with professional standards and obligations

Qualifications and experience required

o A Commerce or Business degree

o CA or CPA qualified

o MYOB, Xero and HandiSoft experience

o 5-10 years or more in Australian accounting industry

o Excellent communication skills

o Ability to manage clients and the varying nature of the role

o Effective nurturing of cross-functional relationships
