About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic to carry out a wide range of mechanical tasks including diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and maintenance of various makes and models of vehicles. You’ll work in a well-equipped workshop with a friendly and dedicated team.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in vehicle engines and components.

Dismantling engine assemblies, transmissions, steering systems, and inspecting parts for damage or wear.

Repairing or replacing defective components and referring to service manuals when needed.

Performing routine maintenance such as oil changes, lubrication, and engine tune-ups.

Reassembling engines and mechanical parts after repair.

Testing and adjusting repaired parts to ensure proper function and performance.

Using computerised diagnostic tools to identify and test faults.

About You

Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant hands-on experience.

Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology is preferred.

Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

A current driver’s licence.

Approved Inspector by TMR.

⁠Automotive Air condition licence as Approved Refrigerant handler licence by Australian Refrigeration council Ltd.
