Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles and internal combustion engines

Remove, inspect, repair and reassemble engines, transmissions, steering, and braking systems

Perform scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups

Test vehicles post-service to ensure proper functioning using diagnostic tools and road tests

Utilize computerized diagnostic systems and scan tools to assess vehicle faults

Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards

Maintain accurate service records and documentation

Respond to breakdown calls when required

Adhere to environmental and workplace health and safety regulations

About You:

Trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic or equivalent (AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training)

Minimum 2 years’ relevant full-time experience

Sound knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Valid driver’s license
