Due to growing client requirements and an expanding project portfolio, Tequa Plumbing & Civil has an opportunity for an Assistant Project Manager to join our growing Civil Construction team based in Sale, Victoria. This is a full-time, permanent position offering exposure to both pricing and project delivery within a supportive and experienced team.

About the Role:
This is a dual-role opportunity supporting the tendering and project management functions across a wide range of civil construction projects. You will be involved from estimation through to on-site delivery support, reporting directly to the Project Managers and working closely with site teams.
The key responsibilities for this role are:
· Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and scope clarity
· Assist in project planning, procurement, and scheduling activities
· Support Project Managers with client communications, contract administration, and tracking variations
· Monitor budgets and assist with cost control and reporting
· Assist with job pre-starts, and participate in project meetings
· Assist with preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates and tender submissions

What we’re looking for:
· 2–5 years’ experience in administration and/or project support
· Ability to pick up new programs and systems quickly
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, etc.)
· Strong communication skills – both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and cost accuracy
· Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
· A positive and proactive "can-do" attitude
