Manufacturing | Brisbane North Side | Casual Role Day shift

We are looking for a capable Maintenance Fitter to join our team here at National Glass.

Our site is responsible for the processing and distribution of glass and glass products through-out Queensland and Northern NSW.

Day shift Hours: 6am to 2:00pm

Days: Monday and Friday (Saturday if required)

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Preventative maintenance, emergency breakdowns and on-going repair work
• Problem solving & trouble shooting to ensure machines are running efficiently
• Ensure smooth operation and minimize down time of machinery to allow for maximum productivity
• Performing routine maintenance in accordance with our maintenance schedule
• Complying with WHS and other company policies and procedures

Key to your success in this role:

• An aptitude for automated plant and machinery - New European equipment and requires computer literacy.
• Experience with CMMS systems
• Ability to work independently and a part of a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent work ethic
• High attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual
• Manufacturing experience preferable
• Glass processing machine maintenance experience highly preferable
