About the Role

As a Civil Lawyer at NAAJA, you’ll work across a wide range of vital legal areas including:

• Police and prison accountability

• Child protection and adult guardianship

• Housing, tenancy, discrimination, social security, VOCAT claims

• Coronial inquests and systemic law reform

You’ll provide legal advice, represent clients in courts and tribunals, and deliver legal clinics in urban and remote settings.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Is admitted or eligible for admission as a solicitor in the NT

• Has civil law experience and litigation skills

• Communicates well across cultures and communities

• Is ready to travel and stay overnight in remote areas

• Wants to contribute to law reform and social justice
