
Facility Maintenance Officer - Painter

About the Role
Reporting to the Facility Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll carry out a range of painting and general maintenance duties across council properties and public spaces. You’ll work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring work is completed to a high standard and in line with safety and operational guidelines.
Key duties include:
- Performing quality painting services and touch-ups across various sites
- Removing graffiti and repairing vandalism
- Supporting general maintenance works
- Providing time estimates and technical advice where required
About You:
You’re a practical, detail-oriented professional who enjoys variety in your work. You’re equally comfortable working solo or as part of a team, and you take pride in delivering high-quality results that enhance community spaces.
We are seeking someone with:
- Trade qualification in painting or significant industry experience
- Hands-on experience with graffiti removal and relevant equipment
- Knowledge of general building and grounds maintenance
- Strong understanding of OH&S and chemical handling procedures
- Current Victorian Driver’s License (essential)
