We currently have an opportunity for an Engineering Cadet to join our Infrastructure and Liveability team.
In the role of Engineering Cadet, you’ll gain hands on experience in civil engineering design, development assessment, traffic management, and infrastructure planning while playing a vital role to support the engineering team. You’ll have the opportunity to develop you technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and professional growth while contributing to the efficient delivery of engineering services that enhance community infrastructure.
What we offer...
- Temporary full-time, 35 hours per week
- Weekly salary from $920.10 (salary is dependent on the stage of your studies)
- Plus 11.5 % superannuation
- On the job training to support you while completing your Engineering Degree
- Study leave to support you with your studies
- Funding assistance towards your tuition costs.
What you'll need to be successful in the role...
- Successful completion of at least the second year of a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- The ability to perform basic engineering surveys with accuracy
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and negotiation skills with a strong customer focus
- Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines
- Proficiency in report writing with the ability to collect, analyse, and present data effectively
- A Class C Driver’s Licence.
