Business Consultant Faro Technologies Metrology and Laser Scanning Systems, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne

We are seeking a dynamic Business Consultant to join our Australian sales team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Mechanical Engineering or Spatial Surveying with an interest in Reality Capture technologies, particularly those used in high precision portable CMM Metrology measurement and 3D Laser Scanning.

The successful candidate will have a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Survey and a proven track record in Australia within the Engineering, Surveying or SolidWorks, Inventor, Geomagic or associated CAD Software industries.

In this role, you will join a dedicated team that specialises in cutting-edge 3D Laser Scanning, Portable Arm CMM Measurements Systems, Mobile SLAM, Precision Laser Tracking and Metrology Grade Scanning from our esteemed partner FARO Technologies.

The position emphasises business growth, requiring strong technical knowledge and exceptional communication abilities. Collaborating with consultants, engineers, designers, architects, geotechnical experts, surveyors and academia, you will adopt a solutions-oriented approach, be adept at addressing the specific requirements of the Metrology and Reality Capture Communities.
