Qualifications & experience

Our pharmacy has a huge focus on creating and maintaining relationships with our customers so strong communication and customer service skills are NON-NEGOTIABLE!

Minimum of 1 year's pharmacy experience is ESSENTIAL! We will need you to have strong pharmacy product and procedure knowledge before you start.

Hardworking and able to work autonomously drawing from your experienced background.

At least S2/S3 cert or extensive knowledge in recommending S2/S3 medications. Dispensing experience highly regarded but not essential.

Ability to pick up new skills and software quickly.

MUST be a permanent Australian resident/ Citizen.

Available 4-5 days a week, NO WEEKENDS AND NO LATE NIGHTS!

Tasks & responsibilities

Customer service - As the first point of contact for customers, you will be responsible for general enquiries, accepting prescriptions, and finalising transactions.

Point of Sale - Accurate handling of cash and EFTPOS transactions and end of day settlement.

Merchandising - Eye for detail in promoting a range of products in season with health needs Eg. hayfever season, cold and flu season.

Inventory Management - Placing and marking off orders from various wholesalers, rotating and restocking shelves, and monitoring expiration dates.

General cleaning and administration duties - Ensuring pharmacy is kept tidy and clean at all times.

Provision and Dispensing of medications - Using your experience in recommending and supplying S2 & S3s to provide and dispense to customers. Dispensing scripts under supervision depending on experience.

Team work focus - Maintain good work ethics and support pharmacy staff in a safe and positive manner.

Handle incoming phone calls - Answer inquiries, and prescription refills in a professional and courteous manner.

Compliance - With all pharmacy policies and procedures including relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
