Whittaker Contracting is currently seeking experienced Fitters for long-term site-based roles at North Parkes Mine on an even time-friendly 7 days on / 7 days off roster.

🔧 About the Role

Undertake the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of a wide range of heavy diesel equipment

Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues

Ensuring high standards of safety and efficiency

Working as part of a supportive and professional team

Maintain accurate records and documentation

Providing excellent customer service to our mining and construction clients

✅ What You’ll Need

Relevant trade qualification – Heavy Diesel Fitter or Mechanically traded

Previous mining or heavy industry experience preferred

Current driver’s licence

Strong commitment to safety and teamwork

Ability to obtain the necessary site inductions

Ability to pass pre-employment medical & D&A screening
