The Role

The role will suit a mid-level building lawyer (2+ years PQE) who wants to manage his or her own clients and become a leader in the firm.

Whilst initially based in the office, there is this potential to work from home.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include all facets of front and back end residential building law including:

Preparing pleadings and evidence

Briefing experts and counsel

Providing client advice

Drafting contracts

Appearing in NCAT and Court

Settlement negotiations and documentation

Client management

Required Skills

Experience in building litigation

Knowledge of the Home Building Act 1989 and relevant legislation
