We’re seeking a hands-on Systems Test Engineer to join a fast-growing Test & Evaluation team working on cutting-edge solutions. This role will involve working closely with engineers across hardware, software, and systems domains to validate performance, identify issues, and support integration across multiple product lines. You’ll play a key role in the feedback loop between R&D and real-world operations.

What You’ll Do

• Perform system-level and subsystem testing using structured procedures
• Support test execution in both controlled lab settings and real-world outdoor environments
• Collect, analyse, and log data using diagnostic tools and custom software
• Set up and operate test rigs, RF equipment, instrumentation, and telemetry systems
• Assist in preparing documentation including test plans, results, and troubleshooting logs
• Work alongside engineers to identify root causes and confirm issue resolution
• Participate in field trials and customer demonstrations
• Uphold safety, quality, and compliance standards across all test activities

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field
• 1–3 years’ experience in testing, QA, systems engineering, IT, or technical support
• Familiarity with embedded devices, electronics, or RF systems is a plus
• Strong analytical thinking and systematic problem-solving ability
• Excellent communication skills, with a knack for clear technical documentation
• Comfortable working outdoors and in live operational test scenarios
• Must be an Australian citizen and eligible for NV1 security clearance
