Experienced Cocktail Bar Professional ($55 per hour - full time position also possible)

We are looking for a Bar Professional to join our caring Team at our sophisticated restaurant and bar in Darlinghurst - The Velvet Glove.

As our new team member you will be hands-on in delivering a sophisticated and exceptional service experience for our guests.

To be successful in this role you will have:

Love and passion in delivering a sophisticated and caring experience for our guests and staff.

Proven knowledge and a love of learning about food, wine, beer and spirits.

Strong communication skills, a positive can-do attitude, and enjoy working within a sophisticated team environment.

Experience & Skills:

Minimum of 2 years cocktail bartending experience in a restaurant or bar of similar calibre.

Have a confident level of knowledge in wines/spirits/cocktails/beer and be able to contribute and elevate the development of our beverage offering.

Deep passion for the hospitality industry with a dedication to providing exceptional service while maintaining a fun and energetic environment

Collaborating with the kitchen and management to create and update drink menus, selecting and sourcing quality ingredients, and introducing new offerings that drive patronage to the venue

Strong communication skills with an eye for detail and being well presented at all times.
