About the Role
An established, fast-growing textiles business (client confidential) is seeking a driven Key Account Executive to join their Melbourne-based team. With a strong pipeline of repeat clients and opportunities to expand the customer base, you’ll be responsible for managing key B2B relationships, driving growth, and delivering tailored solutions across Victoria and interstate.
Perfect for a junior Account Manager or B2B Sales Executive looking to take the next step, this role blends relationship management, sales, and strategic account development in a company where you’ll be set up for success.
What You’ll Do
- Own a portfolio of key B2B accounts across VIC and interstate
- Drive growth through upselling, cross-selling, and proactive service
- Present new fabrics, trends, and developments to help clients stay ahead
- Identify and convert new business opportunities (cold outreach, referrals, events)
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment
- Maintain accurate CRM records and client history
- Report on client activity and contribute to commercial planning
What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years of B2B sales, customer service, or account management experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience in textiles, fashion, or manufacturing (highly regarded)
- Confidence using CRM tools, Excel, and cloud-based platforms
- A driven, proactive approach with a commercial mindset
- Full driver’s licence – company car included
