About the organisation
We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Director to join the team of a well established organisation that believes in the collaborative approach and values team recognition. This role is perfect for someone who’s eager to take the next step in their career within a collaborative and nurturing environment.

You’ll be working alongside a compassionate Centre Manager who’s dedicated to mentoring and supporting your professional journey. In addition, you’ll have the guidance of a warm and approachable Area Manager and State Manager, creating a strong and encouraging leadership network around you.

The service is beautifully presented and well-resourced, creating the perfect environment to bring on new ideas. You'll collaborate closely with the Educational Leader to support and inspire the team, helping to shape engaging and creative curriculums that reflect best practices.

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary (negotiable) that reflects your skills and experience, as well as additional incentives! This is an overall great package! Located near Greenvale area.

Management Responsibilities

• Mentoring and team management
• Sound understanding of Early Learning Years Framework
• Sound understanding of service compliance
• Basic experience in staff rostering
• Building a positive partnership with families

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor of Early Childhood or Diploma in Children Services (ACECQA recognised)
• MUST have at least 1 years experience in an assistant director capacity or higher of a long daycare service
• Current WWCC or VIT
• Updated First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma
• High Level of written and verbal communication
• Strong understand and application in staff management
• Full working rights within Australia
