Your new role

This role is ideal for a skilled and proactive mechanic who thrives in a team-focused, high-performance workshop environment. As a core member of the service team, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and upgrading suspension, steering, brake, and towing systems across a wide range of vehicles--from daily drivers to high-performance and commercial fleets. Using advanced diagnostic tools, your work will directly support the company's mission of delivering safe, reliable, and innovative undercar solutions to its clients. You will play a key role in maintaining the workshop's high standards of transparency, precision, and efficiency while helping clients make informed decisions about their vehicles. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to collaborate within a team dedicated to quality and continuous improvement. A Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent, and a current Australian driver's licence, are essential for this position.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Trade qualified mechanic with Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years post-trade experience in a mechanical workshop environment
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills using modern automotive tools and equipment
• Experience with suspension, steering, brakes, and towing systems preferred
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Positive attitude with a proactive approach to tasks and challenges
• Well-presented and professional as the role includes direct client interaction
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a close-knit team
• Committed to delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service
• Physically fit and capable of working in a fast-paced workshop environment
• Valid Australian driver's licence required
