Murray Marine Centre is seeking applications for the position of a full time Marine Mechanic/Technician to join our growing team. The position is 38 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime, and is for immediate start.

Located on the picturesque banks of the River Murray and approximately 2 and half hours from Adelaide, this is your opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and settle into a country lifestyle. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Complete annual servicing and repairs on outboard and marine equipment.

Complete repairs and maintenance to established schedules as per job card.

Diagnose problems with customer equipment.

Recording of all work & parts used carried out on each piece of equipment.

Notify Service Manager of any future work required for the customer’s equipment via job card.

Use tag system to identify customer equipment.

Complete job cards as required regarding the work carried out on each vehicle.

Work on equipment in line with manufacturers specifications.

Undertake training in the requirements of the Franchised dealerships specifications as directed from time to time.

Other duties as directed by your Manager.

Requirements:

Qualified Mechanic or 3rd/4th year apprentice.

Have a genuine interest in the marine industry.

Ability to work both in a team environment and unsupervised.

High attention to detail and pride in own work.

Forklift and boat license preferable.

Car license.
