About the role

As a Yard Person at Hireworks', you will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient operation of our Equipment Hire fleet. In this full-time position based in Winnellie NT 0820, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including washing machine general check over, loading and unloading trucks, deliveries &customer Service.

What you'll be doing

Organizing and maintaining the equipment in yard, ensuring efficient flow of vehicles and equipment

Safely loading and unloading trucks, trailers and containers using forklifts and other equipment

Assisting with the movement and storage of goods and materials within the yard

Performing regular inspections of the yard, equipment and vehicles to identify and address any issues

Adhering to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Familiarity with the operation of forklifts and other materials handling equipment

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Commitment to safety and attention to detail

A valid driver's licence
