IT Service Delivery Manager

• Initial 6 months contract
• Seeing experience managing IT service desks
• Strong experience with ITIL OR ITSM

About the role:
We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager or IT Service Delivery Manager to lead our IT service desk and operations functions, ensuring seamless delivery of support services in a dynamic enterprise or government environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage IT service delivery teams to meet SLA and customer satisfaction targets
• Oversee daily operations, including incident, request, change, and problem management
• Ensure ITIL-aligned processes are followed and continuously improved
• Manage ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Halo, or Remedy
• Collaborate with MSPs and third-party vendors to ensure consistent service performance
• Monitor compliance with IT policies, standards, and reporting requirements
• Drive continuous improvement through analysis of service trends and feedback

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in managing IT service desks or operations teams within enterprise or government sectors
• Strong working knowledge of the ITIL framework (ITIL certification preferred)
• Hands-on experience with incident, change, request, and problem management
• Proficient with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Halo, Remedy)
• Demonstrated ability in vendor and contract management, including with MSPs
• Exceptional customer service and stakeholder communication skills
• Familiarity with IT compliance, auditing, and governance practices
