*Senior Wintel Engineer
*Contract until 30/6/26 + extensions
*2 days in office / WFH flexibility

The Senior Wintel Engineer (M365 and Azure Cloud) will work with the infrastructure team (and
indirectly with other teams across the Commission and external vendors) for the ongoing support of
hybrid cloud infrastructure, managing and administering various M365 services, existing Azure IaaS
and PaaS environments and assisting with the design and implementation of current and future
initiatives to enhance security profiles of various server, cloud and network infrastructure supporting
Commission systems and to work on technical requirements.

Requirements:

• Supporting complex hybrid cloud infrastructure at the Commission to ensure availability,stability and reliability of systems supporting BAU operations.
• Leading complex troubleshooting and performance tuning of systems.
• Work with broader internal and external stakeholders to ensure the technical outcomes have been assessed and validated in line the technical requirements, along with maintainin an end-to-end traceability of requirements to outcomes.
• Provide technical support to the other business team(s) in their approach towards uplifting
• their Infrastructure and application capabilities.
• Work with external consulting teams (as applicable) on various projects.
• Supporting strategic initiatives such as cloud adoption, Cyber Uplift projects and network security uplift.
• Maintain the documentation and do analysis of improvements and technical/architecture reviews, including end user computing requirements

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience wintel/infrastructure roles with a focus on microsoft ecosystems
• Minimum 3 years working with Azure IaaS/PaaS in a production environment.
• Proven experience in deploying and supporting secure hybrid cloud infrastructure and be
  part of cloud migration, security hardening, hybrid identity implementation projects.
• Strong technical background and proven experience in Windows Server
  (2012/2016/2019/2022) and core services (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Hyper-V,
  PKI/Certificate Lifecyle Management, Always On VPN, System Centre Suites, Bitlocker
  Management, PowerShell)
• Hands-on experience on managing and administering various M365 services, including:
  Microsoft Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, MS Planner, Whiteboard,
  MS Forms and inTune (MDM).
