About the role

We are looking for an experienced Barista with strong bartender skills to join our vibrant team at Vans Cafe & Deli in Cottesloe, WA. This is a casual part time role, offering part time to full time evening hours in a fast-paced and fun environment. There is the opportunity to grow into a full time role for the right candidate.

What you'll be doing

Preparing high-quality coffee, cocktails, wine and spirits, smoothies and other beverages to our customers' satisfaction

Delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere

Being part of a hard-working, fun, dedicated team that enjoy their job

Restocking and maintaining the bar and cafe area to ensure cleanliness and organisation

Following all health, safety and licensing regulations

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Barista with at least 2 years coffee experience, preferably in a cafe or hospitality setting, and at least one year of bartending experience needed.

Availability on weekends is a must, availabilty at night is a must

RSA Certificate

Food Safe Certificate

Strong customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality

Excellent knowledge of coffee preparation, including different coffee brewing methods and machine operation

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively

Good numeracy skills and attention to detail when handling cash and payments

A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing high-quality service
