The NT Department of Health are seeking an enthusiastic Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team in Alice Springs. In this role you will provide comprehensive assessments, planned interventions and care coordination for people with cognitive concerns/dementia within Central Australia, in addition to educating and training clients, carers, families and other service providers.
The successful candidate will be experienced in the provision of assessment and interventions for people with dementia and will work well within a team environment. You will demonstrate and promote a learning environment through clinical support, instruction, and feedback including mentoring students, graduates and less experienced staff across the team, and will contribute to the development and implementation of local/regional policy.
To be successful, you will hold dementia specific qualifications or will be supported to obtain within 6 months of employment and must have current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration and an NT Driver’s Licence.
