- Maximum Term Contract - Part Time - 30.4 hpw until 13 July 2028 (4 days per week or spread over 5 days per week)
- Salary: $98,667 pa (pro rata) + super
- Location: Ringwood - some local travel required

Maroondah City Council is seeking an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic person to complement the existing Youth and Children's Services Team. If you possess a strong commitment to excellence, innovation and a passion to create new and engaging approaches to support the development of young people, we want to hear from you!
The Team Leader Youth Services will provide leadership and guidance to Council’s Youth Development Workers. You will use your passion and drive to inspire collaboration, foster innovation, and create meaningful programs and services that enhance the well-being of young people in Maroondah.
Applicants must have excellent relationship building skills, a strong knowledge of best practice in working with young people, and a genuine desire to raise the well-being of local young people and families. You will play a key role in implementing Councils Youth Strategy which provides strategic direction to guide and focus Council’s work with, and for, people aged 10 to 25 who live, work, study or play in Maroondah.
Collaboration and creativity within a team environment is required to explore new initiatives and opportunities to actively increase the profile of young people as valued and equal members of the Maroondah community.

About Maroondah City Council
Maroondah City Council was constituted as a new municipality on 15 December 1994. The City of Maroondah is made up of three wards, with each ward represented by three Councillors.
Council elections were held in November 2012 and the new Council will remain in office until the next election in 2016. Councillors elect the Mayor each year to serve as the principal ambassador for the City.
