About Your Role
This is a full-time position based in Mackay, where you'll be responsible for overseeing operational teams, creating opportunities, and aligning services with customer needs within our day hub, community access services, and the Youth Program. The role focuses on the organisation’s core mission and ensuring positive outcomes for customers, their families, and the organisation.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Service Manager or someone looking to advance their career. As you’ll be managing services, you will be supported by a fantastic team that shares your dedication and passion.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the services are managed in alignment with Multicap’s Vision, strategic priorities & customer needs.
• Providing Influential leadership, direction and support to staff.
• Establishing & maintaining key stakeholder relationships, enhancing the customer’s experience of Multicap services & providing opportunity for improved brand awareness.
• Leading & developing a team to ensure that service delivery & service expansion remains individually focused.

Experience, skills & qualifications

• Experience in disability services
• Relevant qualifications in human services, community services, or nursing (desired)
• Proficient in staff management, including recruitment assessment, development planning, and performance management.
• Skilled in developing Person-Centred-Plans within a positive behaviour framework.
• Knowledgeable in legislation, safe work practices, and adherence to policies.
• Financially adept, capable of budget management and providing advocacy as necessary.
  
  

Requirements
The successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain;

• Valid drivers licence
• CPR and First Aid certificate
• NDIS worker screening clearance (yellow card)
• QLD blue card (working with children check)
