Palliative Care South Australia (PCSA) is a leading charity and independent peak body representing palliative care providers, consumers and their families and those with an interest in palliative care in South Australia.
We have recently celebrated our first year of the Ambulance Wish SA program providing wishes for people in their last chapter of life and creating memories that last forever.
We are a small and committed team delivering several initiatives to support our vision. This position would be suited to someone actively looking to make a difference working in the not-for-profit, community services sector.

About the Role
We are looking for an Ambulance Wish SA Project Coordinator to join our organisation in a job share role – Monday and Friday to collaborate with our current part time role. This position is based in our office.
The Ambulance Wish SA Project Coordinator will be involved in delivering the following:
Fulfilling Ambulance Wishes from enquiries/request to wish closure and reporting
Coordinating the wish planning and combining wish assessment into a wish plan
Coordinating volunteers, staff, agencies and stakeholders from various programs
Participating in wish delivery, when required
Maintaining task and activity register, statistics and resources for the project
Implementing and tracking the project plan and managing all project documentation and reports
Producing project reports including analysis and recommendations to the Steering Committee
Delivering training and information sessions
Actively contributing to continuous improvement and good governance.
Skills and Experience Required
Ability to collaborate/job share
Proven ability to follow procedure and systems, tracking tasks, documentation and creating clear handovers
Demonstrated project coordination (or similar) skills and proactive solution based approach
Strong understanding of the Health Care sector
Personal experience or work experience in palliative care
Strong ICT skills (including accurate record entry and coordination, activity tracking)
Stakeholder management and engagement
Strong oral and written communication skills
Good time management, planning and organisational skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Good listener, caring and compassionate and knowledge of appropriate professional boundaries
A shared passion and determination to play a key role in delivering the mission and vision of the organisation
Role subject to vaccination requirements, driver’s license and National Police Check
