We're seeking a talented Protection Officer to help us provide rail protection for workers in the rail corridor. Key Responsibilities:

· Document applicable hazards and controls on rail pre-start and brief workers.

· Check and verify all workers possess the required approvals/ accreditations prior to entering the rail corridor.

· Undertake protection duties on rail corridors. Establish rail safety and compliance requirements for worksites based on reviewing and understanding safety documentation and safety management plans.

· Assess the scope of works and liaise with key stakeholders to ensure workers safely deliver works within the rail corridor. Strictly comply with applicable network operator rules, access requirements, and regulations.

· Sporadic away work may be required.

Essential Qualifications:

· Rail Accreditation ARC and/or PTA

· Minimum C class driver’s licence with reliable transport

· First Aid Certificate

· Current National Police Clearance (under 3 months)

· Critical Communications

· Cat 1 Medical

· White Card

· National Police Clearance

Essential Experience:

· Minimum 3 months of experience on ARC Infrastructure or PTA network.

· Previous experience in the rail sector.

· Previous experience in the construction industry.
