Your new role
As the Community Facilities Coordinator, you will report directly to a Senior Manager and take ownership of the delivery and coordination of early years and community infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, lease and service agreement management, and compliance with children's services regulations.
You will:
- Lead a team of three (2 FTE) focused on community and early years infrastructure.
- Manage lease and service agreements, condition reports, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee the planning and delivery of infrastructure projects, including kindergartens and family services.
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to align priorities and resolve issues.
- Prepare business cases, project briefs, and funding submissions.
- Monitor budgets and ensure value for council investment.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in community infrastructure, early years services, or local government project delivery.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.
- Experience managing contracts, leases, or service agreements.
- A solid understanding of children's services regulations.
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to think quickly and communicate persuasively.
