This is not your average SaaS job. You’ll be building real-world technology that helps keep construction and industrial sites safe and secure - think intelligent monitoring systems, intrusion detection, and field asset tracking.

After years of steady growth, a major investment has just landed. The engineering team is now breaking apart a legacy monolith to build focused, product-led teams from the ground up. You’ll play a pivotal role in building a brand-new customer-facing platform, with real ownership across infrastructure and feature development.

What you’ll be working on

• Greenfield development: New platform to replace an 8-year-old legacy system (currently in maintenance mode).
• Customer-facing features: First up? A smart intrusion detection system - smart scheduling, site control, real-time feedback loops.
• DevOps meets Engineering: You’ll bridge software with infrastructure - managing CI/CD, cloud infra (AWS), security, observability.
• Shape the stack: Most of the new work is in TypeScript and AWS - but you’ll help choose the right tools for the job.
• Build it right: Define how software is shipped, tested, monitored, and evolved - from local dev through to production.

You might be the one if you…

• Are a senior backend/software engineer with TypeScript/Node experience (or similar).
• Have solid cloud infrastructure chops - ideally AWS - and know your way around CI/CD and infra-as-code.
• Thrive in ambiguous, high-growth environments - startup or scale-up experience preferred.
• Love to solve problems that touch the real world.
• Are comfortable being the "go-to" on your team and enjoy figuring things out from scratch.

Bonus points if you’ve dabbled in:

• DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
• Building out monitoring and alerting systems
• Supporting product-focused teams while managing infrastructure
