Comfort Keepers is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our clinical team to provide therapy supports for older adults in the wider North of the River region, as well as Mandurah.

This is a full-time role, 8.30am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday, based out of the office in Osborne Park, while also travelling to see clients in their own homes.

This role has the opportunity to work both in the community and from home minimum one day per week.

The Role:

As an Occupational Therapist with Comfort Keepers, you’ll play a vital role in assessing the needs of our aged care clients and developing tailored treatment plans that enhance their independence and quality of life.

You’ll work closely with clients, families, support workers, and our multidisciplinary team to deliver services that are safe, effective, and aligned with best practices.

Other responsibilities include:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised, evidence-based treatment plans.

Deliver one-on-one therapy sessions in clients’ homes.

Recommend and coordinate home modifications and assistive technologies.

Educate and support clients, families, and support staff to ensure optimal outcomes.

Collaborate with care partners.

Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Role Essentials:

This role required the successful candidate to have more than 3 years experience as an Occupational Therapist, ideally in an aged care setting.

This role requires the successful candidate to hold a current drivers license, a clear National Police Clearance, and a qualification with current AHPRA registration.

The role will suit someone who is passionate about providing quality care and support to clients. It requires someone who is organised and manages their time well, and has a good understanding of computers and technology. Interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships is a must in this role, as well the ability to work with diverse clients to achieve the goals and objectives that they chose to achieve.
