Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisor

Location: Brisbane, Western Suburbs | Type: 6-month assignment (with view to permanency for the right person)
Salary: Equivalent of $110K + super | Start: ASAP

Strategic and hands-on advisory role with genuine impact

Contribute to mental health, wellbeing and psychosocial initiatives

Collaborative and supportive team culture

Lead the build of key frameworks including emergency and psychosocial procedures.

Collaborate closely with HR and operational leaders across a diverse workforce

About the role

In this role, you’ll lead and support the development of key health, safety and wellbeing initiatives that will shape the organisation’s future.

Take the lead in building a psychosocial framework

Collaborate on a new 3-year Health, Safety & Wellbeing strategy

Work on emergency management plans

Support delivery of the organisation’s Mental Health & Wellbeing plan

Provide expert guidance, coaching, and audit support across departments

About you

You’re an experienced and strategic WHS professional who enjoys building systems and frameworks and making a real difference.

Background in WHS with a strategic, systems-focused approach

Proven experience leading psychosocial or wellbeing initiatives

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively

A passion for creating safe, healthy, and thriving workplaces
