The Springfield Anglican College (TSAC) is a coeducational Kindergarten to Year 12 school with an enrolment of approximately 1200 students. TSAC is a leading independent school in the rapidly developing growth corridor of South West Brisbane. Just 30 minutes from Brisbane CBD, the College comprises of two campuses, dedicated to Primary and Secondary schooling, respectively.

The Role

The Springfield Anglican College is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Student Services Receptionist for our Secondary Campus. As the first point of contact and the face of the College, you will be primarily responsible for managing the student services reception area, handling face-to-face and telephone enquiries, providing accurate and timely communication of information to parents, management, staff and the public as well as providing administrative support to all staff when required. This position is designated as a College appointed First Aid Officer, making First Aid and CPR qualifications essential. This is a permanent position working full time hours Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.00pm (term time only), including the week prior to the commencement of Term 1. Previous experience in an educational setting is highly desirable.

The successful applicant will present a professional image, have exceptional communication and reception skills and be able to meet the challenges of this role with an effective customer service focus. Experience in the use of the TASS and Schoolbox school software packages would be advantageous.

It is a mandatory requirement for the Receptionist – Student Services to hold a current and valid Queensland Working with Children Paid Blue Card, First Aid, CPR and Anaphylaxis Qualifications and have full Australian working rights.
