Latrobe Building Management is seeking an experienced and proactive Building Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the smooth running of a residential building in Ryde. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives on responsibility, has excellent communication skills, and is confident managing facilities and contractor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage the maintenance of common property

Conduct regular inspections and prepare monthly reports for the Executive Committee

Act as the main point of contact for owners, residents, and contractors

Issue work orders, review and verify invoices

Manage access devices (keys, swipe cards, remotes)

Identify and escalate potential by-law breaches

Maintain building records including services, costs, and contractor expenditure

Ensure compliance and safety across all building systems (lifts, pool, fire systems, anchor points, etc.)

Collect and maintain up-to-date contractor documentation (insurance, licenses, certifications)

Oversee cleaning and security standards

Draft and display building notices and communications

About You:

Previous experience in Building Management

Strong organisational and time management skills

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Proficient in basic computer systems and reporting

Understanding of WHS and building compliance standards

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently

Well-presented with a professional and friendly approach
