Our Building Managers receive ongoing training and support to help them effectively manage day-to-day operations. Working closely with onsite residents, contractors, strata managers and committee members, you will feel empowered to make decisions and build long-standing relationships with the people you assist.

OVERVIEW

Our company is growing rapidly with lots of opportunities for people to grow and develop their career path. We currently have a part-time Building Manager position available for commencement on Monday 16 June.

Location: Pyrmont NSW – Monday to Friday (6) hours per day from 7:30am to 1:30pm (excluding public holidays).

Mobile phone, company computer and onsite parking included.

We are looking for a trustworthy and reliable person who can communicate effectively with residents, contractors and the strata committee. Must be well presented with great interpersonal skills. We are also looking for an approachable and friendly person to help build strong relationships while managing this building located in a stunning part of Pyrmont.

Key Responsibilities

Manage strata scheme with approx. 27 residential apartments and 3 commercial offices.

Undertake daily cleaning duties of all common areas as per the cleaning schedule.

Waste management of all general waste and recycle bins

Maintaining the bin rooms and carousels

Liaise with onsite residents and commercial tenants as needed.

Keep the strata committee well informed.

Manage all building assets including the AFSS.

Engage contractors for routine servicing and Adhoc repairs.

Help enforce adherence to by-laws (if needed)

Provide regular reporting and updates.

Complete routine onsite inspections of common property.

Log tasks in the Building Management System.

To be considered, we require you to possess the following as a minimum:

Solid work experiences in a related or similar role.

Good communication skills both written and verbal.

Good skills in conflict resolution and dispute management.

Friendly and positive attitude.

Strong approach towards the completion of tasks.

Strong attention to detail.
