We are seeking experienced Project Managers to deliver expert project management services across a diverse range of infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for providing high-level professional and technical advice, as well as reviewing and supervising contracts, engineering designs, and construction methods for civil, mechanical, electrical, and building works. Join our team and play a vital role in delivering high-quality, efficient, and compliant outcomes that support Council’s strategic objectives.

About the role:
  • Provide efficient, timely, and high-quality project management services to all other sections across Council.
  • Provide support to the organisation with a variety of projects for internal clients across all divisions of Council.
  • Ensure procurement for projects is conducted with the NSW Local Government (Tendering) Regulation and Council’s Procurement Policy.

  • a base salary ranging from $95,331 per hour/annum with competency-based increments up to $109,716 per hour/annum, plus 11.5% super
  • 2 maximum-term contracts up to 24 months, permanency may be offered based on operational needs

We are seeking:
  • Degree qualifications in Engineering, Construction, or a relevant discipline.
  • Strong project management skills with the capacity to manage multiple complex engineering projects.
  • Expertise in contract management, including procurement risk assessment, tendering, evaluation, contract supervision, and project close-out.

This position is based in Murwillumbah and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
