About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated and organised Senior Support Services Officer to join our rehabilitation care team. In this vital role, you’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals, supporting clinicians in delivering high-quality care to patients. Your day-to-day tasks will be varied and rewarding, helping to ensure smooth service delivery and positive outcomes for clients.
Reporting to the Team Leader Support Services, you’ll play a key part in the coordination of administrative and operational duties within the team. Your ability to communicate effectively, prioritise tasks, and work collaboratively will contribute to the seamless functioning of our patient-focused environment. About You
You’re a dedicated and experienced professional who thrives in a team-based healthcare setting. To be successful in this role, you will have:
A relevant AQF Certificate III and a minimum of 560 hours of in-service experience in a similar support role
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse backgrounds and maintain confidentiality
Proven ability to work independently, prioritise tasks under pressure, and provide guidance to team members
Sound knowledge of hospital procedures, support services operations, and relevant legislation including OHS&W and the Health Care Act 2012
