Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly, organised, and proactive receptionist to manage our front desk and support the day-to-day operations of our office. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks calmly and efficiently.
This is a full-time role, however we are open to candidates seeking 30+ hours per week with some flexibility in scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
Greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
Answer and direct phone calls promptly and courteously
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
Provide administrative support to the accountants, including scanning, ATO & ASIC management and preparing client documents
Perform corporate secretarial tasks (e.g., lodging ASIC forms, maintaining company registers)
Maintain the offices to a clean and professional standard
Schedule and manage appointments and meeting room bookings
Assist with banking duties, including preparing deposits and attending the bank when required
Key Requirements
Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role (preferred)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Professional presentation and demeanour
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Positive attitude, team-oriented, and a willingness to learn
Comfortable with handling confidential information
Desirable
Experience in a professional services or accounting firm
Familiarity with Access Handisoft
Basic understanding of corporate compliance and ASIC processes
