The Opportunity
We're looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with a proven track record in commercial sales. This is a pivotal role designed for someone who thrives on identifying and building strategic relationships, securing new business opportunities, and closing deals in financial services sector.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and evaluate industry trends
Develop and implement strategies to attract and secure new clients, including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
Develop compelling and competitive proposals and presentations that align with the client needs
Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals through strategic planning and execution
Work closely with the operations and shared services teams to ensure alignment with business development initiatives, and delivery of customer satisfaction
Prepare regular reports and updates on activities, progress, and results
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in business or related field (preferred)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role; preferably within the outsourcing services industry
In-depth understanding of the outsourced services market, industry trends, and competitive landscape
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to think strategically and execute effectively
High degree of commercial acumen
Self-Motivated, driven and goal-oriented team player with a strong desire to achieve results. Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and capable of identifying and addressing challenges proactively
