Harvest Technology Group is seeking a commercially minded and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive global growth of our innovative communications solutions.
This role is all about finding and unlocking high-value opportunities where our Australian designed and manufactured technology solutions can solve complex challenges, particularly at the frontier within the oil and gas, marine services, public safety or defence sectors, utilising our state-of-the-art technology, Nodestream.
Nodestream is widely regarded as the world’s most survivable protocol, setting the standard for operational and situational awareness in mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships that align with our mission to keep our clients “always connected” in remote and critical operations.
Engage strategically to enhance our market position within the oil and gas, marine services, maritime, public safety and defence sectors.
Rapidly assess complex customer environments pinpoint valuable problems to solve and define compelling value propositions.
Translate insights into clear go-to-market strategies and commercial plans.
Leverage your existing cross-industry network to connect with decision makers, industry influencers, and delivery partners. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including direct clients, channel partners, industry partners, and internal teams.
Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations to align business development efforts with company objectives and enhance our Australian-built technology offerings.
Own the development and delivery of compelling proposals and negotiations that lead to sustainable business success.
Track performance and share insights and regular updates with senior leadership.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings and contribute to positioning Harvest Technology Group as a global innovator.
Work collaboratively with Harvest channel partners supporting them to close specific sales opportunities as required.
About You:
· You bring 5+ years of experience in enterprise or complex solution sales. Experience in remote operations, communications network technology in oil & gas, marine services, maritime or defence would be advantageous.
You’re a natural hunter with a sharp commercial mind, curious nature and a strong grasp of how to best position a solution to create value.
· You have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in complex business environments.
You’re persuasive, strategic and resilient in long-cycle sales environments.
· You have strong negotiation skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You can work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
