Your new company
Hays Recruitment are looking for two experienced Customer Service Officers to join our client's team in Maffra immediately for a short-term casual assignment until 31/07/25, with the possibility of an extension. Our client is a well-established organisation that plays a key role in Southern Victoria's agricultural sector, supporting farmers in producing high-quality, fresh, and locally sourced produce.

You will be responsible for the following

• Answer telephone switchboard calls and enquiries and re-direct where appropriate
  
• Take accurate messages and forward to appropriate staff member
  
• Actions from phone enquiries, not limited to posting or emailing information and directing customers to our website
  
• First point of contact for our 'Online Chat' website function
  
• Front of office Reception
  
• Processing receipting and daily banking
  

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in delivering exceptional customer service and administration
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues
  
• Proficiency in computer systems, including an intermediate to advanced understanding of the Microsoft Suite
  
• Outstanding time management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritise, and work both independently and collaboratively
  
• A proactive mindset, demonstrating initiative, adaptability, and a willingness to embrace new challenges
