Council is offering an exciting opportunity for a Business Sustainability Undergraduate to join our team and help shape the future of local business sustainability practices.
As a Business Sustainability Undergraduate, you will work closely with our Environment & Sustainability team to develop and implement strategies that promote eco-friendly business practices.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in driving sustainability initiatives within local businesses, helping them thrive in an environmentally conscious world.
Reporting to the BBP Program Coordinator, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the execution of the BBP program under the guidance of the BBP Program Coordinator
- Conduct research and create content on business sustainability topics
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of business-focused events
- Conduct demographic data research, data entry, and provide reports and analysis on membership bases
- Manage and update databases, ensuring accurate records and analysis
Qualifications, skills & experience
- Currently enrolled in the penultimate or final year of an undergraduate Environmental and Sustainability Management degree
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence
- Competent in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong communication, research, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, when required
