Our esteemed Tasmanian legal client has engaged Local Workforce Hire to recruit two Senior Criminal Lawyers—one in Burnie and one in Launceston. What’s on Offer
- $220 per weeknight + next morning off
- $1,000 per weekend + Monday off
- Burnie: $137,786 + regional allowance
- Launceston: $131,480
- $2,000 relocation assistance (negotiable)
- Rental support is available to ease your transition
- $2,000 retention bonus after two years
- Up to $18,550/year in salary packaging (tax-free benefits)
- On-call compensation:
- 35-hour full-time week
- 23 days of annual leave
- 15 days' personal/carer’s leave,
- Easter Tuesday off
- Permanent employment with real long-term value

Who We’re Looking For
- 3+ years’ criminal law experience, ideally with court advocacy in the Magistrates Court (Supreme Court experience a bonus)
- Leadership or mentoring experience (essential for Burnie)
- Strong client management and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to relocating permanently (no short-term arrangements or remote servicing)
