The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Office Administrator to join our South Brisbane-based team. This role requires strong administrative skills and a basic understanding of building processes and products. A professional, friendly attitude and the ability to build positive working relationships with subcontractors and suppliers are essential.
Key Responsibilities – Summary
Answer and manage incoming phone enquiries.
Manage day-to-day office operations, including setup and maintenance of office systems (phones, PCs, internet, etc.).
Provide administrative support to the Managing Director across business operations.
Assist with basic marketing, including managing social media platforms.
Handle ad hoc tasks related to project and office administration.
Accurately record and assess client enquiries in line with our scope of services.
Provide administrative support to the job supervisor for building projects. (Eg. Job scheduling, Work Orders, etc)
Draft QBCC and Master Builders contracts and associated documentation.
Manage Accounts Receivable and Payable data entry.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Oversee Home Warranty Insurance payments.
Maintain and manage a database of licensed, reliable subcontractors.
Liaise with suppliers and contractors for office-related needs.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in office administration within a building or construction company.
Familiarity with Prime Ecosystem Software (preferred but not essential).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, OneDrive, Google Pages and general administrative systems.
A current Open Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record.
