Haynes is seeking trade qualified and experienced Diesel Fitters and HV Mechanics to join our team in Darwin.

Key Duties:

Perform detailed inspections and diagnostics on Light Vehicles, Heavy Vehicles, Earthmoving Machinery, Crushing Equipment and Highway Trucks

Perform repairs, maintenance, and overhauls on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other heavy equipment components within a timely manner

Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment accurately

Use a variety of hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and machinery to complete tasks

Ensure all work is carried out is carried out in complaince with safety standards and regulations

Maintain accurate records of work performed

Work independently and as part of a team to meet operational requirements

About you:

Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Fitting, Heavy Diesel Mechanic or similar field

Proven experience working with Heavy Diesel Machinery

Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

Proficient use of diagnostic tools

Hold a current Drivers Licence

Safety first attitude

Be able to pass a National Police Clearance

Be able to pass a Pre Employment Medical with Drug and Alcohol Screen
