The Business Administration Support Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for Administration Officers to join their team on a casual basis.

This Expression of Interest collects a variety of information that will help identify potentially suitable applicants for future opportunities.

Your opportunity

  • To provide and undertake a diverse range of confidential administration support services across Mackay-based facilities within the MHHS.
  • To provide and undertake a diverse range of highly responsive and confidential after-hours administration support services across Mackay-based facilities within the MHHS.

About the Team

Business Administration Support Services (BASS) provides a mechanism to support various work units within the Mackay Hospital & Health Service with appropriately skilled administration staff to backfill administration positions to meet service delivery needs.

Mackay Hospital and Health Service has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff. The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
