About the role

• Team Global Express is currently seeking both HC Drivers and Forklift Drivers to commence immediately at our Tennyson Depot in Brisbane.
• Full time, Permanent roles - Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm
• Overtime to be offered where applicable
• Complete deliveries and pick ups promptly and according to time frames
• HC Drivers to complete regular runs to Toowoomba and back
• Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes
• Restraining loads safely as well as the correct use of straps and chains where required
• Keeping trucks in a clean and maintainable condition, whilst also keeping the yard and your personal work area tidy
• Unload and load vehicles and sort them appropriately and safely
• Sort through Refrigerated Freight and split time effectively between the Cold Room and the General Floor
• Break down pallets and consolidate them into appropriate Loads
• Scanning freight, freight sortation and re-palletising of freight
• Manual handling where applicable, including building & wrapping of pallets
• Picking and preparing runs for following day
• Palletizing freight for travel where required
• Ensuring the correct movement and distribution of freight in a timely manner.
• Carry out all duties within set time frames and follow instructions closely.
• Identifying damages and reporting in accordance with site process
• Ensure compliance and safety is always adhered to.
• Must have a safety-first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently.
• Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes.

What you'll bring

• You will hold a Current & Valid Forklift License OR HC Truck Licence (Mandatory)
• You will be able to work as part of a team
• You will able to follow instructions and work autonomously where required
• You must have Full Rights to work in Australia
• You will have a high attention towards Safety
